Radio and
Digital Media Program 

In an effort to increase turnout within the historically low Arizona Latino community, La Machine carried out a media program in support of the Biden for President campaign that also complemented its grassroots activities in targeted regions during the 2020 cycle.

THE ISSUE:

Latinos in Arizona typically have low voting turnout.

OUR PURPOSE:

Reach out to find an effective way to increase Latino turnout and support Biden in the 2020 presidential election

STRATEGY:

We identified the best Spanish-speaking radios in Arizona that would reach our target audience and spent $500,000 on radio and media buys to turn out voters across the two largest cities in Arizona: Phoneix and Tucson. 

RESULTS:

Our efforts helped lead to Biden’s eventual victory in Arizona, the first Democrat president to win Arizona since 1996
